Privacy policy

The app has no accounts and no server. Your times, your bests, your settings and any photo you import stay on your device. The only thing that leaves it is a purchase, and that goes to Apple. This website counts page views, and that is a separate thing — described at the bottom.
What the app collects
Nothing. There is no sign-up, no profile, no e-mail address, no advertising identifier, no analytics and no crash reporting. We do not build a profile of you, and we have no way to recognise you across devices or across installs.
This is not a promise about how carefully we handle your data. It is a statement that the app has nowhere to send it: there is no Pazuru server, so there is no database with your name in it, because there is no database.
What stays on your device
All of it lives in the app's own storage on your phone:
- Solve times, move counts and personal bests
- Which puzzles you have finished, and any puzzle in progress
- Your settings — haptics, tile numbers, reduced motion
- Any photo you import, copied into the app so it can be played
Deleting the app deletes all of it. So does Delete my data in Settings, which removes the imported photo files as well as the records — the files are on disk, and deleting only the records would make the deletion a lie in the one place it matters most.
Your photo library
When you choose a photo, iOS asks your permission and hands the app the single picture you picked. Pazuru never browses your library, never reads photos you did not choose, and never uploads any of them.
Purchases
Buying a collection is the one part of Pazuru that talks to the outside world, and it necessarily involves two other companies.

RevenueCat does not receive your name, e-mail address, Apple Account or payment details. The identifier it generates is random and is not derived from anything about you or your hardware. We use it only to answer one question: has this person paid for this collection?
In Apple's own terms, the RevenueCat SDK declares that it collects purchase history only, that the data is not linked to your identity, and that it is not used for tracking. That declaration ships inside the app and Apple checks it; it is not something we are asking you to take on trust.

Tracking and advertising
There is none. The app shows no adverts, contains no advertising or analytics SDKs, and does not track you across apps or websites. It does not ask for permission to track, because there is nothing that would use it.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it either, and we have none to sell.
This website
pazuru.app counts page views. It uses Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and stores no identifier on your device, and the script is served from this domain rather than somebody else's — so reading this page does not introduce you to a third party.
Each view records the page you are on, the site you arrived from, your browser and operating system, whether you are on a phone or a computer, and roughly where in the world you are — worked out from your network connection, not from any location permission, which this site never asks for. Repeat visitors are counted using a hash of the incoming request, which Vercel discards after 24 hours; that is also why these numbers cannot tell us you came back on Tuesday. If your browser or a content blocker blocks the script, it does not run and nothing is counted. We have not gone out of our way to make that harder, and will not.
None of this reaches the app. Visiting this site tells us nothing about what you do inside Pazuru, and the app itself still has no analytics of any kind — which is what the rest of this page is about.
Children
Pazuru collects nothing from anyone, children included — so there is nothing held about a child to disclose, correct or delete. The app is not in the Kids Category, and its App Store age rating reflects classical nudity in some of the artwork rather than anything it gathers.
Your rights, and how to use them
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete personal data held about you. For the data on your device you can exercise all of these yourself and immediately: it is yours, on your hardware, and Settings has a delete control.
For the purchase records held by RevenueCat, write to us at pazuru@hung-studios.com and we will action the request. Note that Apple keeps its own record of your purchase independently of us, and that we cannot delete it — you would need to contact Apple.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change ever means the app starts collecting something it does not collect today, that will be said plainly here and in the app's release notes rather than absorbed into a longer document.
